Queen's Alumni and the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's are delighted to present The Book Club, a new series of online author events. The book under discussion each time, will be a recent publication from a writer associated with the Seamus Heaney Centre's creative writing programme. The event will feature the author themselves, in conversation with one of the Seamus Heaney Centre's writers.
The first of the series, featured current PhD student Susannah Dickey talking about her acclaimed debut novel Tennis Lessons (Doubleday, 2020), with director of the Seamus Heaney Centre, Glenn Patterson. Queen's Alumni Engagement Officer, Andy Nisbet Friel, introduces the event.
