An animated documentary told through 6 intimate monologues of females of different backgrounds that addresses the struggle of self-acceptance in the world of very narrow meanings attached to the word “beauty”.
NO DOGS: ANN FRASER (Filmmakers: Sofia Negri, Gemma Schnable, Paola Galinova, Anastasija Zubareva)
Ann, 83 years old, shares her story as an Irish immigrant who moved to London in the 1950s to find a job and exciting opportunities.
BEYOND THE VEIL (Filmmaker: Francesca Salmasi)
An abstract style documentary that immerses the viewer in different cultures through their funeral rites. Its aim is to show the ways in which we as humans can celebrate and grieve the process of death. This film was inspired by the death positivity movement; as in the U.K, where this film was made, we have a particularly death phobic culture.
BORDER/LINE (Filmmaker: Meg Earls)
The story of the Northern Irish women who have made the journey to England for an abortion.
DELPHINE "NO DOGS" (Filmmaker: Anayis Der Hakopian)
This short animation follows a real testimony during the "No Blacks, No Irish, No Dogs" period in UK History where men, women and children of all ages took a chance at a better life in the UK only to receive a harsh welcome when they arrived. In this short we follow Delphine who has come to London when her child unexpectedly falls Ill.

LEFT UNSAID (Filmmaker: Mei Lian Hoe)
An experimental animated film about cultural dysphoria and the disconnect between grandfather and grandchild caused by an ever-growing language barrier.
SENESCENCE (Filmmaker: Phoebe Morrison)
This film is a visceral depiction of senescence, the process of deterioration with age, looking at the common problems and changes that come with old age.
STRANGE (Filmmaker: Cameron Carr)
Strange is an autobiographical story told in a visual journal style, a glimpse into an autistic author’s life exploring friendship, trails and the use of unique coping strategies.
